One of the most popular uses of the wood lathe is to make beautiful bowls and platters. Topics include mounting a bowl blank to the lathe using a face plate and glue block, rounding, shaping, hollowing, and finishing. Students must have taken the Intro Wood Turning Class or equivalent.
