Tribal History/Shared History - Reflection and Storytelling at BJCC

Laurie Danzuka, member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, will share tribal history, impacts on public education, engaging with tribal students/families and indigenous ways of living. She will share current issues facing tribes and its members, with topics centered around treaties, ceded lands, tribal lifeways, cultural restoration, and language revitalization.
