Chilean musician and professor at Lewis & Clark College, Freddy O. Vilches, PhD, will talk about the rich musical traditions and instruments of Latin America. He will feature and demonstrate several traditional instruments including quena, zampoñas, charango, Venezuelan cuatro, Maracas (Venezuelan and Caribbean), Güiros, and Claves.
