SPECIAL GUEST: Blake and the Music D/L SEXTET is a related configuration of Negative Press Project (NPP), the large-format jazz/indie-art/post-bop inspired original music collective originally from Oakland, California and driven by bassist Andrew Lion and pianist Ruthie Dineen. The pair released ‘The Victorious Sessions’, their first album since 2019’s Within, winter of 2023 on Ridgeway Records and an exclusive translucent-teal vinyl version on Envelopmental Music Records February 2, 2024. NEGATIVE PRESS PROJECT is set to release their Fifth Full-Length recording featuring the daring new music string-ensemble, Friction Quartet, with ‘CYCLES I’ on Envelopmental Music Records, January 30, 2026.
